ICLS 2012The next International Conference of the Learning Sciences (ICLS 2012) is to be held in Sydney from 2-6 July 2012. The ICLS is a biennial conference sponsored by the International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS).

Chad versus SimpsonsThe AIED 2011 banquet talk has now been confirmed. In this serious talk, H. Chad Lane will lead us through the lives of the Simpsons' characters and how things in the Simpsons' world stack up against our AIED field. What important ideas are we missing? Which characters on the Simpsons would your research help (or not)?

Programme change: affects sessions 9-14

Sessions 9,10,11 have been swapped with sessions 12,13,14. This is due to a requirement to start the AIED2011 banquet session earlier. The changes are now in the modified programme.

Get your banquet tickets before 22 June

As the caterers require participant numbers, the deadline for registering for the AIED 2011 banquet is 22 June. If you chose an AIED2011 registration without the banquet, you can still register for the banquet.

Papers for the Authoring Simulation and Game-Based Intelligent Tutoring Workshop are now available online. This full-day workshop is included in the AIED 2011 registration and is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 June 2011. For more details, see the workshop webpage.
